Divine Appointment is a fun help hope and healing fun counseling center located in Yreka Ca.   We are reaching out to many populations through our drop in center where we are open M-Sat 12pm - 8pm.  We have many free activities and programs for such people as: Young adults, teens, the homeless, children, families, those in recovery, seniors, veterans and more!  At the center we have free coffee and donuts daily until they run out ​.  We have Free pool, ping pong, classes, groups, children's puppet shows, drama, recovery meetings, hands on job skills, oportunities for volunteers, dinners, and much more depending on the events and activities for the month. 

 

We at Divine Appointment care about the needs in our community and the services that are not being provided and/or more is needed and we try to fill in the gaps for free or at a price anyone can afford such as counseling at a sliding scale fee.   All of the staff are volunteers and we are not state funded.  We completely depend on our fundraisors and communtiy support to meet the needs of all of our vital programs and services such as our many youth activities and services like "A Vision for Youth" (A teen leadership/prevention job skills program) and "Changing Lives Programs" ​(An after care recovery program for teens at risk)



The reason that Arthur and Brenda (Co-Founders/Directors) started Divine Appointment is because we saw the needs for services that were either not being provided or could not be aforded especially for youth.  Kids in this area litterally have nothing to do and we have helped to cause youth to "Dare to Dream" and to create using thier gifts and talents as we try to bring them out & encourage them with our many free classes, groups, trainings, hands on job skills train in our snack bar, events, puppets for children and much more!  We have something for all ages and are always open to do new things that are needed in our community if it is going to improve a life etc.
